Favorite Pastime: I’m a pretty laid back kinda guy. It doesn’t take much to entertain me. I enjoy hanging out at a local coffee shop. When I have free time I’ll bring my sketch pad and my I pod and just vibe out into my creative zone. Sometimes I end up being there for a few hours.
Favorite Music: I enjoy a variety of music. I like Classical, Rock n Roll, Rap, Hip-Hop, world music and Electronica.
Favorite Movie: I have a few favorite movies. I like all of Christopher Nolan’s films. He is just such a great inspiration to me as an overall story teller. “Following” was awesome movie. “Memento”, “Prestige”, and his newest film “Inception”. I also like that “avatar” Movie by James Cameron.
Favorite Actor/Actress: I like Johnny Depp, Leonardo Di Caprio, Denzel Washington, Gary Oldeman, Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie, Hugh Jackman, Anthony Hopkins.
Favorite television show: I like watching a lot of the programs on the “Discovery Channel”,” “History Channel”, “Nat-Geo”, “Science Channel”. I usually have the television on for background noise while I do art.
Favorite food: I’m a big fan of feeding my face. I love spicy food. Indian is delicious. I like pizza, I also like to cook baked chicken, and Spaghetti and meat balls. I make my meat balls from scratch.
Favorite comic book/Novel: I don’t have a favorite book. I grew up reading “X-Men” books. I really liked Batman too. I also enjoyed a lot of the books Image put out when they first started.
Favorite artist in the industry or in general: I have a list of artists that have inspired me growing up and continue to inspire me now. Jim Lee, Michael Turner, Gale Bennette, Joe Madureira, Marc Silvestri, Todd Mcfarlane, Joe Benitez, Carlos Pacheco, Mark Texera, Jae Lee, Whilce Portacio, Stjepan Sejic, David Finch, J. Scott Campbell, Greg Capullo, Adam Kubert, Andy Kubert, Frank Miller, Stephen Platt, Pat Lee, Dale Keown, Rob Liefeld, Jan Duuresma,
Favorite writer In the Industry or in general: I like Garth Ennis, Jeph Loeb, Neil Gaimen, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Clive Barker, Bryce Courtney, Jennings Michael Birch
What you like most about working on “The New Age”? I Love everything about working on this project. It is a dream that is now being fully realized. I have been working on this on and off for sixteen years. Vil has been helping me with the book since 2002. There’s nothing like seeing your dream come into fruition.
Dream Project: I have a couple other projects on the backburners but I would really love to collaborate on some projects with Jim Lee, Marc Silvestri, Todd Mcfarlane, and Joe Madureira.
